August
13 - It's been
a VERY long time since I've had something to put in the Frisbee Forecast. But
tonight I was inspired by a desk fountain that I purchased earlier today. The
sound is so soothing, and the visual effect is so incredible, that I had to
write about it. The water gently cascades down a stone wall into a pool of river
stones. A light inside the base pool makes the rocks glow and the wall flicker
as if by candle light. It makes me feel so relaxed, that I'm surprised how I
ever got along with out it. I further became inspired to grab our digital camera
and snap an instant gratification photo to share with you online. Instead of
doing a fountain close-up, I decided also to show you where I put it, as location
is important. The photo shows where I spend most of my time developing Web sites.
I put the fountain just to the right of my computer, so I look forward to the
positive affect this will have on my work. By the way, the wallpaper on my computer
screen is my latest flower basket. It came
out really nice, so I like looking at it.
August 14 (footnote): To further enhance my experience, I brought in my sound machine from the other room. I placed that behind me and set it to "Mountain Stream." I have now achieved waterfall in stereo.
