4/5/06 - Happy Birthday Rebekah! How was that chocolate cake? 4/6/06 - Rebekah turned two yesterday. Although she sits at the table and uses a fork sometimes, she got most of her cake on her face. We took her to the doctor for her two-year-old check up today. Everything looked great! She weighs 28 pounds, is 35 inches long and has a 19-inch head circumference. I have no idea what the percentiles are, but the doctor was pleased. |

7/5/06 - Rebekah is 27 months old. She used the potty for the first time today!! It was after dinner and before her bath. Thinking she might have to go, I invited her to use the potty. She hopped right on it, talked about it, sang about it, and then she DID IT!! We are all very proud and look forward to her continued success. By the way, a follow-up on camp-- Rebekah is doing fantastic! She didn't cry past the first week and she is having an excellent time. She can count up to 19, sings songs (including her whole alphabet) and can say LOTS of words and short sentences. 7/28/06 - Rebekah has not desired to go near the potty again; however, she doesn't like her diaper either. Most of the time we find she's stripped off her diaper and her clothes and she's running around naked. It's a fight to dress her again. She has also stopped wearing floaties in the pool even though she can't swim. She dislikes sippy cups and prefers to drink from a cup (which she can do very well). We're not sure if she's asserting her independence or if she just wants to be like her big sister. |

10/1/06 - Rebekah moved out of a crib and into her own big girl bed!
Happy Halloween 2006 2/11/07 - After refusing the potty all this time, we think Rebekah is ready again. She's the last one in her class to try, but in the last few weeks she's been asking to go and making an effort. Well, today, she was successful! Congratulations Rebekah!

6/09/06 - Leah & Rebekah
started summer camp this week! Rebekah is a first-timer
and dealing with
it as well as can be expected. She cried some
the first week (particularly at
drop
off),
but we're told she is enjoying the
daily activities and does better each day. By Friday, she was happy
and chatty at pick up. Camp is three days a week, 9 AM - 3 PM.
On the other two days, Leah, Rebekah and I go to a Mom
&
Tot Workout class.
